This contest was timed to the 240th anniversary of the foundation of Kirillov that was celebrated in June 2016. It was organized by the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve, the Kirillov Town Administration and the District Youth Center “Alfa”.

N.D. Solzhenitsyna, wife, friend and associate of the world-famous writer and Nobel Prize winner A.I. Solzhenitsyn, went to Kirillov on September 22.

September 1, 2016, marked the 30th anniversary of museum work of Mikhail Sharomazov, director of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve.

The theatre studio of the Sunday school presented a new play and gave a concert in the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve on the occasion of Easter.

At the meeting about the writers - our fellow-townsmen, the members of the Union of Russian Writers admitted, “We cannot have anybody rewriting the history of our Victory!”
