The Vologda region hosted the festival popular with admirers of original music for the seventh time. This year’s program included modern gypsy jazz or Jazz manouche – a modern variant of music that became popular in the 1930s. It was performed by the all-acoustic Gonzalo Bergara Quartet. The open-air concerts were given on three grounds: in the Vologda Kremlin (on July 15), in the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve (on July 16) and in the Museum of Architecture and Ethnography in the village of Semenkovo (on July 17).

The Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve has become the venue for the International Theatrical Festival “Voices of History” for the second time. The festival program in Kirillov includes performances staged by the theatres of Karelia and St. Petersburg. This event will be concluded with the concert “Songs of Russia” given by the soloists and the Choir of the Mariinsky Theatre (St. Petersburg).

     29 июня в Кирилло-Белозерском историко-архитектурном и художественном музее-заповеднике состоялось очередное заседание экспертной фондово-закупочной комиссии. Сотрудниками научно-фондового отдела был представлен 91 предмет. По решению членов комиссии они будут включены в основной фонд музея.

24 июня в научно-фондовом отделе Кирилло-Белозерского музея-заповедника состоялся реставрационный совет, на котором были рассмотрены вопросы возврата и выдачи предметов в реставрацию, а также утверждены отчеты о проделанной работе художников-реставраторов.
