The aim of the project was to make a modern, original, easily recognizable logo that would be used in all information, advertising and representative produce of the museum.
The logo sent for the contest was to reflect the mission, goals and objectives of the Memorial Flat of Vasily Belov: to preserve and to popularize the creative heritage of the Russian writer, novelist, playwright, poet, native of the Vologda region.
Applications and creative works were accepted till October 1, 2016. You were to send them by e-mail: belovmuseum@yandex.ru.
The main requirements to the contest work:

The organizers of the contest thank all participants of the project. It is very pleasant that there were a lot of young people and students among them. The youngest contestant was only 19 years old and the oldest – 62. Along with residents of Vologda, inhabitants of many regions of Russia and even foreign countries joined in the contest. It evidences the interest in the creative activity of Vasily Belov far outside the Vologda region. Several participants read the works of Vasily Belov for the first time thanks to this project.
The contestants certainly had a difficult task. They were to reflect the specific features of the Memorial Flat of Vasily Belov, to elaborate a logo that could be understandable without words, description and explanations. Besides, it was to refer people to the creative activity of V.I. Belov that was complex, rich and contained not only “village prose”. As the winner hasn’t been determined, work on the search and design of the logo for the Memorial Flat of Vasily Belov will be continued.
