Internet quiz. Award ceremony

Vitaly Ivanov is a tenth-former of the Kirillov Secondary School. He is interested in the history of his native region for a long time. When he learnt about the museum contest, he decided to take part in it at once. Vitaly noted that he used not only Internet sources, but also read some books about the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery and the museum-reserve fulfilling the tasks of the quiz.

I.A. Smirnov, deputy director of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve, thanked V. Ivanov for active participation in the contest, congratulated him on the victory and gave him a free season ticket (for a quarter of a year) for all permanent and temporary exhibitions and events in the museum. Besides, the boy was awarded the letter of gratitude and the gift book “Through the Veil of Five Centuries”.

“According to the results of the Internet quiz, Vitaly Ivanov gained 200 points, just 5 points less than Yevgenia Yemelyanova and Olga Sokolova. It is commendable that the pupil found some spare time, studied special literature on the subject, thought over everything, met all regulations of the quiz and claimed a win as result”, pointed out I.A. Smirnov.

Yevgenia Yemelyanova and Olga Sokolova who took the first and second places in the quiz couldn’t join in the award ceremony due to some reasons. Prizes, season tickets and letters of gratitude were sent to them by mail.
