Has the fairy tale reigned in the People’s House?
The Vologda Puppet Theatre “Teremok” presented the play “Mishuk or the Fairytale about a Naughty Bear-Cut”.
People who came to see the performance “Mishuk or the Fairytale about a Naughty Bear-Cut” managed to get to a real kind and sincere fairy tale. The play based on Vasily Belov’s works touched the feelings of all spectators. The hall in the People’s House resounded with laughter and cheers. Boys and girls saw a spectacular story about the bear-cut who decided to live “an adult life” and to do without parents’ upbringing. We won’t carry on an intrigue and keep you out in the cold. Put bluntly, no good came out of Mishuk’s idea and the children closely watching the story understood that the parents and home were the most important. The home of your fathers is the place where you will be always received, defended and propped up.
To appreciate mothers and fathers, to consider the elderly people’s opinion and to help each other in difficult situations - young spectators of Kirillov apprehended these simple truths together with Natalya Vasilieva, Andrey Vasiliev and Valentin Ovsyannikov, artists of the Vologda Puppet Theatre “Teremok”, at the play “Mishuk or the Fairytale about a Naughty Bear-Cut”.
The fairy tale of the Vologda’s writer was first presented in the exhibition complex of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve in a new aspect! Puppets came to life in the artists’ hands! They danced, sang, cried, admired and made every spectator emphasize with them. Talented acting and interesting directors’ ideas involved the young spectators into the action at once. It is not strange at all: the authors of the performance are recognized experts in the theater community. They have been given prestigious theatre awards “The Golden Soffit” and “The Golden Mask”. Its director Andrey Knyazkov is the Honoured Artist of Russia and the laureate of the State Youth Prize of the Vologda Region; Alexander Alekseev, designer of the play, is the Honoured Artist of Khakasiya and the laureate of the Russian National Theatre Award “The Golden Mask”. As for the performance “Mishuk” itself, it has been awarded the State Youth Prize of the Vologda Region in the sphere of culture and art.
The actors telling the story about Mishuk will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their creative work on the stage of the Vologda Puppet Theatre “Teremok” this year. They are real professionals who hold the audience spellbound from the first seconds and till the last bow. The actors were cheered loudly by the young spectators of Kirillov who encored them again and again expressing sincere gratitude.
Murmansk, Ivanovo, Yaroslavl and Archangelsk are those cities the residents of which have already seen the play “Mishuk or the Fairytale about a Naughty Bear-Cut”. Tomorrow the artists will perform in Petrozavodsk and then in Vytegra. We will hope that the actors of the Vologda Puppet Theatre “Teremok” will come to Kirillov soon and will amaze us with new bright audacious and kind stories!
