The Museum of Dionisy’s Frescoes opened its doors for visitors in the evening for the fifth year running. Connoisseurs, creative people and visitors who were not indifferent to museum activity came from Kirillov, Vologda, Moscow and St. Petersburg and joined in the action.

The scheduled educational seminar of history and social sciences teachers of the Kirillov district took place in the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve. Its topic was “Use of Regional Potential of the Museum-Reserve in Personal Enhancement of Pupils in the Context of Implementation of the National Project “Education”.

Events of the All-Russian action “Night of Arts” in the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve were organized on several grounds: the Museum of Town and District History, the People’s House, the Refectory, the Assumption Cathedral, the Kazan Tower and the conference hall. All of them were certainly filled with inspiration and bright emotions!

Today film and theatre actor Alexey Nikulnikov has made a tour of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve, visiting its permanent exhibitions, going to the Refectory, the Dormition Cathedral and ascending the Bell-Tower.

The meeting of the Public Council of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve was held in the conference hall yesterday.

Results of the contests of drawings and essays “There is a Town on Earth…” marking the 240th anniversary of the foundation of Kirillov were summed up in the Museum of Town and District History on October 22.

This contest was organized by the Kirillo-Belozersky Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve and the District Youth Centre “Alfa”. Children of preschool educational institutions, pupils of secondary schools and institutions of additional education located in the Kirillov district took part in it.

Results of the creative contest for the best logo of the Memorial Flat of Vasily Belov, the branch of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve, were summed up on October 24, 2016.

The 3D model of Dionisy’s frescoes painted in 1502 will be made by employees of the Factum Foundation in collaboration with the Charitable Peri Foundation. The Spanish company Factum Arte that digitalizes and reconstructs cultural heritage sites is famous all over the world for the facsimile of the Tomb of Tutankhamun. The first project implemented in Russia was preservation of the cultural heritage of Kala-Koreysh in Dagestan.
