Winners of contest of creative projects (essays) “There is a Town on Earth” were determined

20 creative projects (essays) were sent for the contest by the pupils of the educational institutions of Kirillov and the Kirillov district. They wrote them on the following subjects: “Favourite corner”, “Historical journey”, “People of my town”, “Dreaming of the future”. The contest included two nominations: “Full treatment of the subject”, “For sincerity of the narration”.
Winners in each thematic category and nomination were determined:
Topic “Favourite corner”
1st place – Alina Terebova, seventh-former of the Kirillov Secondary School
2nd place – Ekaterina Bukhtik, seventh-former of the Kirillov Secondary School
3rd place – Eduard Gorshkov, fourth-former of the Kirillov Secondary School
Topic “Historical journey”
1st place – Valeria Lebedeva, seventh-former of the Kirillov Secondary School
2nd place – Maria Prakshina, eighth-former of the Kirillov Secondary School
3rd place – Mishel Akopyants, sixth-former of the Kirillov Secondary School
Topic “People of my town”
1st place – Maria Malginova, fourth-former of the Kirillov Secondary School
2nd place – Andrey Akimov, fourth-former of the Kirillov Secondary School
3rd place – Valentina Ryabova, fifth-former of the Goritsy Secondary School
Topic “Dreaming of the future”
1st place – Sofia Ageeva, seventh-former of the Goritsy Secondary School
2nd place – Dana Kulakova, seventh-former of the Kirillov Secondary School
3rd place – Varvara Makina, fourth-former of the Kirillov Secondary School

“For sincerity of the narration”
Nikita Markelov, fourth-former of the Kirillov Secondary School
Dana Kulakova, seventh-former of the Kirillov Secondary School, won special recognition from the jury for her original treatment of the contest topic in verse.
All contestants will be given letters of gratitude.
Prize-winners will be awarded diplomas and souvenirs.
