New Year’s parties in museum

The children’s performance was based on Russian fairy tales. The Tsar, his daughter - the Princess Who Never Smiled or the Unsmiling Tsarevna, and her friends go and seek the Golden Cockerel stolen by Nightingale the Robber and Likho. The characters meet some marshy dwellers, the Bear named Masha, the Dragon Gorynovna and certainly Father Frost and Snow Maiden. According to the tradition of the Russian fairy tale, the kind characters defeat the evil ones and everything is concluded with a general feast.

During the performance, kids together with the fairy characters sang and danced, recited poems, participated in games, and painted with sand on special illuminated tables.

These wonderful and magic days of the outgoing year brought a lot of joy, fun and sweet gifts to our little friends.

The Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve thanks students of the Vologda Regional College of Culture and Tourism and their teachers V.L. Nuzhina and S.A. Chekushina for their assistance in the organization of the festive events.
