Museum lessons in Goritsy

The lessons in the elementary school were about fine art. The museum employees told children about the animal painter Y.I. Charushin, about icon painting, some peculiarities of Kirillov painting and the art of painting in Japan.

Lectures on local history were read for pupils of the middle school: “Our Region in Ancient Times”, “Ivan the Terrible and Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery”, “Charitable Activity of Kirillov’s Merchants”, “Kirillov District during the First World War”. In all, 14 lessons were conducted for 180 schoolchildren.
