Children and adults took part in the program “Easter” on May 1.

Besides, children played Easter games in the Cook-Cells and tasted Easter food in the summer café of the museum.

The program “Easter chime” took place on May 2.

Museum employee N.V. Zovutina conducted an interactive lesson about the history of bells of the 16th-19th centuries kept in the collection of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve. Visitors were told about the collection of church bells of the 16th-19th centuries, specific distinction of the shaft-bow bells and studied all parts of the bell. Then kids participated in the quiz “Bell structure” and saw the film presenting the process of casting bells.

Then N.V. Zovutina taught the guests to make a souvenir rag doll “Doll-bell” symbolizing good news.

This holiday in the museum culminated in the visit to the functional belfry of the Church of St. Euthymius. Children were pleased to ring the bells and light Easter chime could be heard in the outskirts of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve.
