K.V. Gusarina and N.V. Petrova, employees of the Department of Visitor Relations, conducted the event titled “Cabbage Gatherings” in the kindergarten of the village of Goritsy on November 30, 2016.

The Initiative Council on Memorialization of Prince Mikhail Ivanovich Vorotynsky was established in Vologda in 2012. Its members are employees of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve, representatives of the Department of Culture and Tourism, the clergy, higher education institutions and public of the Vologda region. The work of this council is aimed at the popularization of the historical figure – great Russian military leader M.I. Vorotynsky. V.A. Sablin, dean of the History Department in Vologda State University, Doctor of Historical Sciences, is the chairman of the Initiative Council.

Employees of the Department of Visitor Relations in the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve went to the Goritsy Secondary School on November 22, 2016.

Participants of the Interregional Research and Practice Conference “Museum Accessible for Disabled People” came to the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve and the Museum of Dionisy’s Frescoes on November 23. Kristina Johnson, director of the Indiana Deaf History Museum (the USA), was among them.

The 2016 tourist season was summed up at the meeting in the People’s House on November 18. Heads of rural settlements, travel agencies, employees of the Department of Tourism and Folk Crafts, hotel and restaurant business, local craftsmen, students of the Vologda Regional College of Culture and Tourism participated in the event. They summed up results of the 2016 tourist season in the district in general and concerning key enterprises of the Kirillov district.

The music program of Elena Antonova “However Life is Good” that was held in the conference hall of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve on November 19 attracted a capacity crowd.
