91 articles replenished main holdings of Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve

To replenish the numismatics collection, the museum bought three medals “Andrey II Alexandrovich”, “Simeon Ivanovich Gordiy (the Proud)” and “Dmitry Ivanovich Donskoy” from the series “Rules of Russia” issued by the St. Petersburg Mint on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty.
77 new items replenished the archeology collection of the museum. Their list includes bone and horn articles dating back to the Middle Stone Age: details of the costume (pendants and sewed-on pieces made of animals’ teeth, elements of the hunting gear (heads of arrow and bear spears), fishing tackle (hooks and harpoons).
The Museum of Dionisy’s Frescoes received 3 items of M.S. Serebryakova – 2 keys for locks in the shape of a pole-axe (dating back to the late 18th century) and the first museum stamp.
