Employees of the Department of Visitor Relations and the Scientific and Storage Department went to the secondary school of the village of Nikolsky Torzhok in the Kirillov district. They presented an exhibition and read lectures on history and local studies.

New confectionary products have been supplied to the souvenir shop in the Refectory of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve.

The Distrcit Local History Conference “World through Culture” was held in the Kirillov Secondary School on January 28. Its goal was intensification of pupils’ research work on the study of history of the Vologda region, its cultural and war-time past, sights and monuments, biographies of outstanding people, issues of geography, archeology, toponymy, folklore and ethnography.

A Christmas event of the pupils of the Sunday school in the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery was held in the conference hall of the museum on January 8.
